NRW.INVEST presented new location projects in North Rhine-Westphalia at the Istanbul Fashion Apparel Conference.

At one of the leading events in the Turkish fashion and textile industry, NRW.INVEST presented itself as the No. 1 investment location in Germany while specifically targeting Turkish companies from this sector.

To date, a total of around 300 Turkish companies have decided in favor of North Rhine-Westphalia as their business location, including such well-known names as GTI Travel, Gökbora and Sarar. Last year alone, 16 Turkish companies settled in Germany's economically most important federal state.

"We regard the opening of the representative office of NRW.INVEST in Istanbul four years ago as a genuine success," emphasized Dr. Günther Horzetzky, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Building, Housing and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, in Istanbul. "All over the world, the investment landscape is developing with great dynamism. We also expect the Turkish economy to become even more globalized and the sum of its direct investments to grow significantly. And in North Rhine-Westphalia it has a reliable partner."
